Vienna/London, December 18, 2025 – Kapsch TrafficCom has been appointed to the Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) Transport Technology Framework, strengthening its position as a trusted partner for public sector organizations across the UK.
The CCS Framework simplifies procurement for government bodies by providing pre-agreed terms and conditions, enabling public sector buyers to access innovative technologies and procuring them in an efficient manner.
Tim Wray, UK Sales Director, comments on the appointment: “Being part of this CCS Framework is a significant milestone for Kapsch TrafficCom in the UK. In light of the recent eVED or Electric Vehicle Road User Charging announcement, our inclusion in the CCS framework creates procurement routes for future distance based charging solutions and also help us support public sector organizations in achieving their transport management system objectives both efficiently and sustainably.”
Kapsch TrafficCom has been awarded specialist lots 5 (Enforcement, Security & Compliance) and 7c (Transport Network Management). Inclusion in lot 5 allows Kapsch TrafficCom to promote its end-to-end tolling capabilities, from established barrier-free tolling to modern distance-based charging solutions. Inclusion in lot 7 allows delivery of advanced traffic management technologies, supporting smarter and more sustainable mobility across the UK by managing both demand and supply of urban roads and highways.
