Kapsch TrafficCom receives ESG Transparency Award

Vienna, December 16, 2025 – Kapsch TrafficCom has received the ESG Transparency Award for its 2024/25 sustainability statement.
ESG stands for Environment, Social, and Governance. As a “Leading Company”, Kapsch TrafficCom is one of the best organizations by country, industry, and size – and belongs to the “Excellence Class” of the award. The current sustainability statement was the first to comply with the reporting standards of the European Union's Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
The assessment is based on a scientifically sound, multi-stage model for analyzing ESG reports, which takes into account key European and international guidelines, established benchmarks, cross-industry best practices, and the expectations of stakeholders and shareholders.

The evaluation criteria are transparency, ESG, and the regulatory environment, with transparency forming the core of the award. Particular emphasis is placed on traceability, structures, and accessibility of reporting. As ESG Officer at Kapsch TrafficCom, Doris Gstatter will also be appointed to the ESG Transparency Committee 2026.
The ESG Transparency Award from EUPD Research (a recognized market research institute for sustainability) honors organizations that understand sustainability as a strategic management principle and disclose their progress and potential areas for improvement. To this end, it evaluates the transparent reporting of organizations from more than 30 countries and all economic sectors.
