Your modern C++ code will power the connected vehicle technology that keeps traffic safer and smarter. As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and test high-quality embedded C++ software for next-generation V2X and GNSS technologies.
This is a hands-on senior role: you will translate customer and product requirements into reliable, scalable platform capabilities, own features from design to validation, and help shape the platform architecture.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Design, develop, and validate embedded V2X and GNSS software in modern C++, plus the supporting development tools
- Implement high-quality, maintainable, and reusable C++ code following best practices for embedded systems
- Collaborate with product management and design teams to translate user needs and product requirements into scalable platform capabilities
- Contribute to system design discussions, ensuring robust, efficient, and extensible solutions
- Build automated unit and integration tests, and debug and optimize performance on embedded Linux targets
- Take part in code reviews and share your C++ expertise with the team
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 5+ years of professional experience in embedded software development and Linux-based applications
- Expert-level proficiency in modern C++ in production embedded systems
- Familiarity with application interfaces for communication protocols, particularly V2X, GNSS, 3G/4G, TCP/IP, Bluetooth, and LwM2M
- Proven experience developing testable code, implementing automated unit tests, and working with automated test environments
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, GitLab, and Docker
- Familiarity with agile development processes
- A technical degree in computer science, systems engineering, software architecture, information technology, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience
- A proactive approach, strong teamwork skills, and effective communication
- Business-fluent English
