On 1-2 June 2022, international experts are going to discuss at the International Road Federation (IRF Global) regional conference, how to avert the continuing and growing epidemic of road traffic injuries, responsible for 1,350,000 fatalities per year.
Under the Patronage of H.E. Rumen Radev, President of the Republic of Bulgaria, the conference will address the importance of building consensus and achieving a shared domestic & regional policy agenda based between government agencies involved in delivering the Vision Zero mandat.
Michael Weber, General Manager at Kapsch Telematik Technologies Bulgaria EAD, will present on 1 June in the session "Enhancing the road safety with ITS" a case study of the nationwide tolling system and its positive effects on road safety and road users experiences.
