We are looking for a Contract Manager to join our team!

Your responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and revise contracts, including commercial, procurement, and service agreements.

  • Collaborate with legal, procurement, and project teams to ensure terms are fair, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals.

  • Lead or support contract negotiations to reach agreements that protect the company’s interests while maintaining strong client or vendor relationships.

  • Identify and assess contractual risks and propose mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure all contractual obligations and liabilities are clearly understood and managed throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Monitor compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain organized and up-to-date contract records, including amendments, extensions, and renewals.

  • Ensure deliverables, milestones, and timelines stipulated in contracts are tracked and met.

  • Facilitate internal communication to guarantee obligations are fulfilled by all stakeholders.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related matters between internal teams, clients, suppliers, and other third parties.

  • Provide guidance and clarification on contract terms and obligations to project teams.

  • Manage contract changes and variations, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.

  • Handle claims and disputes in collaboration with legal counsel or relevant departments, seeking resolution in a timely and professional manner.

  • Track contract performance metrics and KPIs to ensure compliance and value realization.

  • Report contract status, risks, and issues to project managers and senior leadership.

  • Recommend improvements to contract templates, processes, and procedures.

  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and changes in contract law or regulations.

Your Profile:

  • Experience in contract negotiations, including the ability to assess contractual risks and propose mitigation strategies.

  • Knowledge of ITS solutions.

  • Understanding of the local market.

  • Existing contacts within the industry at the governmental level – highly desirable.

  • Advanced proficiency in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.

  • Law degree required.
