We are expanding our Product Management team and looking for a Senior Platform Product Manager in our Location-Based Charging segment. As platform product manager you will be the focal point for discussions with internal and external stakeholders on product requirements, roadmap, markets and technology. The solutions supported by this platform include Nationwide GNSS Tolling Systems and Connected Vehicle and Mobile Tolling, among other solutions that rely on GNSS data. The team delivering this set of solutions is a cross functional team spanning numerous countries, primarily developed out of Austria.

Responsibilities:

  • Define the global platform vision, roadmap, and requirements that align with the company's business objectives, including definition and management of KPIs, oriented around key business, product and organizational outcomes.
  • Develop written requirements that include functional, business, technical, success metrics, and associated use-cases; shepherding products from ideation to testing, deployment, and then iteration.
  • Lead the product discovery process that may include market research, data analysis, and user research to incorporate customer, sales, delivery and partner needs into product decisions.
  • Lead ideation sessions to further develop insights and assumptions to create new opportunities, features, or products.
  • Decompose business requirements into product backlog (features / stories), and curate the backlog.
  • Work with the User Experience team to design end-to-end flows and experiences that support the business and technical requirements and provide consumers with the best value and experience.
  • Understand the key customer personas and work with the UX team to develop wireframes and designs, and to provide feedback and approval to designers.
  • Orchestrate frequent and high-fidelity communications with key stakeholders across project management, design, engineering, marketing, through the entire product development lifecycle, to ensure the global team is fully informed on the platform strategy, plans and roadmap, and that their feedback is incorporated into the product plan and roadmap.
  • Coordinate with sales, solution consulting, marketing, operations, legal, and finance to ensure successful product rollout, communications, and adoption.
  • Manage technical considerations, work closely with the Product Owners to deliver effective market solutions, manage and defend non-functional requirements, ensure product performs as needed. Be a persistent and committed “voice of the customer” within the product team.
  • Measure and report on product forecast, pipeline, adoption and impact and use data to recommend feature enhancements.
  • Oversee the product budget (P&L) and budgeting process to ensure the relevant requirements are prioritized and appropriately resourced.
     

Qualifications: Education, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science or related field. MBA desired.
  • 10+ experience in Technology / Platforms and Systems product management with a technology vendor, with 5+ years product management managing complex enterprise solutions and / or analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity and experience with on-premise and cloud / SaaS solutions required.
  • Comfortable working in an unstructured, fast-paced environment, self-starter and tenacious with a good “bedside manner”, collaborative working style.
  • Strong communications skills, our primary language is English, but a secondary language will be helpful.
  • International travel will be necessary.
  • Ensure early solution readiness to enable demonstrations, proof-of-concept rollouts globally, facilitating sales and customer feedback.
  • Plan technological evolution along with business model adaptations to achieve product-market-fit.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and work with the standardization team.
  • Work in an agile environment (mostly Kanban) with multiple teams and external entities, where the general motto is “hands-on or hands-off”.
  • Strong team player, upright personality, global mindset.
  • Experience defining the vision and strategy for a solution and a proven track record of bringing solutions to market.
  • Excellent communication across seniority levels and with people of different educational and cultural backgrounds; organization skills – managing internal and external requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience applying and working within  common frameworks including SAFe, Kanban etc.
  • A jack-of-all trades with a get-things-done attitude - whether this be working on requirements, discussing business cases, strategy discussions with the board or technical discussions with the team.
  • Strong experience with the Atlassian tool suite including Confluence, Jira Align etc.
  • Having worked in a matrix organization is considered a plus.
