We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team! Are you passionate about leading projects, collaborating with customers, and driving successful outcomes? We’re looking for a proactive and results-oriented Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex ITS projects. In this role, you will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage customer relationships, control project risks and budgets, and ensure the successful delivery of projects that create value for both our customers and Kapsch.
How you'll make an impact
Project Planning & Delivery: Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful closure of projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, contractual commitments, and customer expectations.
Project Leadership: Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and a results-driven environment focused on delivering business value.
Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, expectation management, and stakeholder satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Risk & Opportunity Management: Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks and opportunities, implementing mitigation and action plans to support successful project outcomes.
Contract, Change & Claim Management: Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and actively manage contract changes, claims, and scope variations in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Financial Management: Own project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, revenue recognition, and timely financial reporting.
Quality Management: Ensure project deliverables meet agreed quality standards, customer requirements, and organizational processes.
Project Governance & Reporting: Provide regular project status reports to management and customers, highlighting progress, key decisions, risks, issues, financial status, and mitigation actions.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of project management practices, methodologies, tools, and lessons learned across the organization.
What Makes You a Great Fit
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Project Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
At least 3 years of Project Management experience, preferably in international environments.
Experience managing medium to large-scale projects, including customer-facing engagements.
Fluent English.
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, and Confluence.
Good understanding of IT, Telecommunications, and software development environments.
Experience managing project risks, budgets, contracts, KPIs, and SLAs.
