Kapsch TrafficCom USA Inc. seeks Java Developer at its facility located at 2855 Premiere Parkway, Suite F, Duluth, GA, 30097.

DESCRIPTION:

Develop, improve, and maintain multiple products designed on the principles of an N-tier architecture. The main products are mission-critical transaction processing systems, similar to a clearing-house application, with supporting applications that provide diagnostics and infrastructure monitoring. Mentor junior developers and have input into the implementation of software solutions. Develop products that consists of generic cores that are customized and extended by modules for individual customers. Create and secure APIs to internal and external teams and third parties, with one or more RDBMS back-ends. Interact with members of other teams during design, development, and maintenance of deliverables. Up to 3 days telecommuting.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field plus 2 years of experience as Software Developer, Software Engineer, or related occupation. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: 1 ) Developing APl's for internal and external teams and third parties, with one or more RDBMS back-ends; 2) Developing RESTful webservices using Java code that integrate with third party services; 3) Improving product design using the principles of N-tier architecture: 4) Developing products using software design principles - architecture, design pattern, and Object-oriented programming that consists of extended modules for individual customers; 5) Designing, developing, and maintaining deliverables; 6) Performing web development using Java and C#; and 7) Implementing Java based Application Servers (Tomcat/Wildfly) and Apache Servers.
