The Role:

The entry level, Staff Engineer will participate in the entire lifecycle of projects including design, configuration, commissioning, testing, and training. This position will provide experience in: staging and configuring control systems for SCADA and ATMS applications; creating application and system test procedures; developing GUI (Graphical User Interfaces), process databases and reports; performing application and system testing; and performing operator and system training.

Travel in this role is estimated to be approximately 20%.

What we are looking for:

·         Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Mechatronics), Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

·         Experience with computer hardware and operating system platforms (Windows, Linux, etc.)

·         Experience with networking and related technologies

·         Reading and interpreting electrical and civil schematic drawings

·         Proficiency working with a Windows PC in a network environment

·         Periodic travel is required and willing and able to travel up to 20% annually

Our top Candidates will have:

·         Exposure to Traffic/Transportation systems

·         Demonstrate exposure through course work or practical experience (including internships or co-op) to project-oriented control system integration

·         Experience programming in Java or JavaScript

·         Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) technology

·         HMI or SCADA software graphics configuration and database development
