Kapsch BusinessCom acquires stake in SharePoint specialist CSE-NETWORK

Cooperation intensified with Upper Austrian full-service provider of business solutions based on Microsoft products

Vienna, June 13, 2016 – For some time now, Kapsch BusinessCom has been working with CSE-NETWORK in realizing joint client projects. To do so, the provider of integrated solutions in the areas of collaboration, workflow, and business intelligence uses Microsoft products. Kapsch is now acquiring a stake in the company comprising eleven employees. Together, they will offer integrated services to businesses aiming to make optimal use of the advantages of digitalization.

From their headquarters in the Upper Austrian town of Vöcklabruck and the Kapsch office in Graz, CSE-NETWORK supports corporate clients who are concerned about the effective, meaningful, and profitable use of IT solutions with Microsoft products. The provider constructs intranet and extranet portals based on SharePoint and Office 365 and also implements individual .NET web development projects. The range of services extends from evaluation and brainstorming through implementation to operating solutions like these.

Embedding overall IT strategy and infrastructure

“As an ICT service and digitalization partner, our approach is to work with our clients in developing and implementing an IT strategy that is viable for the future. This stake in CSE-NETWORK allows us to also offer individual solutions for collaboration and business intelligence. The special expertise of CSE-NETWORK and the approach of offering end-to-end solutions fits perfectly into our portfolio,” says Franz Semmernegg, CEO of Kapsch BusinessCom. Michael Hofer, CEO of CSE-NETWORK GmbH, also confirms this: “During joint projects for clients such as Loacker Recycling GmbH in Götzis, where a new intranet including document management was created on the basis of SharePoint, we discovered that our corporate philosophies blend well together, and that we complement one another perfectly in the work that we do.”

Kapsch BusinessCom – a company of the Kapsch Group – is a leading ICT service partner in Austria, Central and Eastern Europe with about 1,300 employees and annual sales of about 320 million euros.
