Kapsch implements HP Project and Portfolio Management solution for Omani telecom provider Ooredoo

Vienna/Muscat, August 11, 2015 – As a Platinum Partner of HP, Kapsch BusinessCom has been commissioned to implement a comprehensive project and portfolio management software solution for Omani telecom provider Ooredoo.

Ooredoo was launched in 2004 as the first privately owned telecommunications company in the Sultanate of Oman, and the company is now providing voice and data services to more than two million customers. In order to support further growth, new products and services are constantly being developed. In the dynamic telecommunications industry, such projects are usually very complex and need to be carried out under great time pressure. In response to this, Ooredoo has chosen a software solution that offers the company the ability to easily centralize and automate project and portfolio management. The integration of HP’s software was overseen by a dedicated team of Kapsch experts.
