Kapsch’s state of the art solutions for Urban Mobility Management, Integrated Mobility Services, Connected Vehicles, Tolling and Traffic Management can be experienced at the Booth # C2-010 along with the company’s latest developments such as the Kapsch product suite for Advanced Traffic Management and the new comprehensive in-vehicle V2X platform.

Vienna/Copenhagen, September 17, 2018 – Mobility in all its forms requires a wide variety of smart solutions and service offerings. As one of the leading global experts in precisely these types of Intelligent Mobility Solutions (IMS), the technology company focuses on integrated traffic and mobility services combining traffic, transit and parking data under one umbrella system. Under the motto “We create our city” the company is already developing the technologies and solutions that will shape the mobility of tomorrow.

From Highway to Driveway

Kapsch will demonstrate for the first time its integrated Advanced Traffic Management product suite covering various applications from Highwigh to Driveway. The tight integration of the DYNAC and EcoTrafiXTM offerings combines all aspects of Advanced Traffic Management: Urban, Highways, Bridges, Tunnel, Managed Lanes, Reversible Roadways and Integrated Corridors. The updated Kapsch product suite includes an upgrade path for existing customers and is modularly deployable to cover any traffic management domain combination. Furthermore, it is scalable from standalone server deployments to national or multi-region datacenter deployments with tens of thousands of devices, and the unified user interface is fully web based and built on the latest HTML 5 technologies and standards.

Technical Demo Tour – Oresund Bridge

Kapsch technology will be shown within a guided bus tour over the Oresund bridge with general information of the only fixed link between Sweden and Denmark. During the transfer, there will be a presentation of the purpose of building – to facilitate integration between two countries. On arrival in the Toll station on the Swedish side of the bridge different ITS systems will be shown to demontrate Electronic Toll Collection including vehicle detection, smart and safe speed control through the toll station, systems in the Traffic Control Center, the CCTV system connected cross-border to both Swedish and Danish police as well as an alarming system for rescue forces in both countries.
