We develop data and video analytics platforms, building on state-of-the-art technologies including AI, machine learning, big data and cloud services to enable the digitalization of mobility.

We are looking for a Senior DBA to be responsible of data base administration.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Technical design and implementation of the products data repository’s structures and objects.

  • Interacts with Product Owners and Architects to ensure the best and more cost effective design of the data repositories.

  • Defines and applies best practices for database specification & design, considering data integrity, performance, high availability design, recovery & security aspects.

  • Ability to monitor and improve the performance of the databases in operation to assure availability and stability.

  • Perform last level analysis of incidents sent via a notification system within the SLA parameters agreed with the client.

  • Provides support to Customer Facing projects development & support teams on database specifics.

  • Defines backup and restore processes at product level.

  • Defines preventive maintenance plans at product level.

  • Monitor and improve the performance of the databases in operation in related environments, by performing preventive maintenance, optimizing the database structure and using indices.

  • Perform 3rd level analysis of incidents using the database to verify defects. Develop workarounds to continue operation of the system.

  • Keeps database engines updated with recent patches.

Your Profile:

  • Proven experience in DBA role.

  • Database design, programming, preventive maintenance.

  • MS SQL (required).

  • PostgreSQL (desirable).

  • ITIL

  • Knowledge in C#. Tools for Design, programming, version control y database management.

  • Systems/Information Technology University or Tertiary Studies (or equivalent knowledge/experience).

  • Intermediate level of English language.
