Kapsch TrafficCom USA, Inc., a global transportation solution provider, is seeking an exemplary and dynamic performer to enhance our team as the Director of Sales, Tolling Market Solutions, in the South-Central region of the United States. As the Director of Sales, you will be driving the Company’s portfolio of tolling and mobility solutions furthering the development of the future of transportation. Future where cars talk to each other, aiding in the flow of traffic and the safety of the transportation network.
As the Director of Sales for the South-Central region, a key focus will require detailed market assessment and determining the areas of focus to deploy, develop and enhance the Tolling Portfolio to established and emerging market segments. This role will represent Kapsch’s Tolling and Mobility solution portfolio, with a focus on leveraging, developing and capturing customer centric tactical and strategic opportunities, supporting the long term of all stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Support the formulation of customer and partner strategies and business models
Build a sales pipeline, capable of achieving specific sales and customer focused targets.
Ensure cross-market, and cross functional awareness to other Kapsch sales, Technical and Product management teams, across the product solution portfolio.
Support the evaluation of opportunities, technologies, and market demands to determine investment and / or go-forward partnership strategies
Monitor trusted news outlets and other credible sources to identify and report on existing and emerging trends and opportunities in the marketplace.
This is a remote/home based opportunity, but travel is required and could be up to 50%, or as the Director deems required to fully develop and maintain the opportunity and the development of the project

What we are looking for:
Bachelor’s Degree
5+ years’ experience in external sales / business development / marketing fields, or applicable industry experience
Experience working with public-sector Agencies and Departments, as well as Private entities and Developers
Willing and able to travel up to 50% annually, or as the Director deems required to fully develop and maintain the opportunity and the development of the project

Sales and business development experience, specifically in the Tolling, ITS, or Transportation industry
Customer centric and customer focused, in the development of long-term business and service relationships over the entire value chain.
Services related product and solution experience
Expert capabilities with MS PowerPoint, social media, and CRM applications and platforms
Strong analytical skills, experience with product launch and go-to-market strategies, business model development, voice of customer techniques, etc
Ability to think in concepts (strategic) and outside the box (creative)
Ability to succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, willing to perform tasks outside the official job descriptions
