We are looking for an interim HR Manager to join our team in Melbourne!

Your responsibilities:

  • Provide end to end business partnering support to leaders and employee groups across APAC, being a trusted advisor and support in all people matters
  • Management of all talent acquisition activities in APAC, including into new geographical areas
  • Partner closely with leaders on performance and talent management activities, including the appraisal, and merit processes, promotion and staff movements, succession planning and management of top talent, and managing grievances and disciplinary processes
  • Coordinate Learning and Development activities in line with Company budgets and training needs identified during appraisal process
  • Provide oversight of all payroll activities in APAC
  • Management of all compensation and benefits within APAC, including benchmarking activities
  • Oversight and management of the APAC data and processes within our global HRIS Workday
  • Development and maintenance of HR Policies, Procedures and Guidelines to meet the needs of the business in line with current legislation
  • Provide best practice advice and participate in change management activities when new projects are won or restructuring and reorganization is required
  • Management of all employment relations matters, for Australia this includes interpretation and application of Fair Work requirements, National Employment Standards and applicable Modern Awards, and for New Zealand the Employment Relations Act and subsequent Acts, with future support required for SEA in conjunction with relevant local law
  • Management of all immigration and visa matters, including supporting the negotiation of relocations and global placements
  • Regular HR reporting and analysis to ensure key metrics
  • Provide input and support to bids and tender responses as required
  • Support the annual audit process, participating as a process owner for all HR local and global HR processes;
  • Management of the HR budget, HR suppliers and contracts

Your profile:

  • 5+ years’ generalist and business partnering experience in Human Resources Management
  • Experience within global, matrix organizations highly regarded
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources preferred
  • Experience in payroll (plus)
  • Sound knowledge of Australian and New Zealand labour law
  • Strong computer literacy and experience with HR technologies and systems, such as HRIS (Workday preferred), recruiting (LinkedIn, SEEK etc.) and learning platforms
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • High level of computer literacy and knowledge
  • Strong and relevant administrative skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and people leadership skills
  • Well organized and the ability to manage multiple topics, projects and initiatives at one time
  • Self-starter and able to work autonomously requiring minimal supervision
