The Role:

The Technical Operations Support position will operate and maintain our production and development infrastructure and core applications, support our customers and broader engineering teams to deliver the highest quality of service. In this role, you will provide new and existing customers with the best possible service in relation to service requests, suggestions, and complaints.

This position will work on-site at 7701 Metropolis Drive, Austin, TX 78744, and involves shift work. The shift will be 7PM to 7AM and could be either, Monday thru Wednesday with alternating Thursdays or Friday thru Sunday with alternating Thursdays. Wages: $20/H


  • 1st level support for internal and external customers

  • Incident coordination in ITSM tool

  • Providing solutions to incidents and failures

  • Escalation of complex incidents

  • Monitoring of IT systems infrastructure

  • Remote technical support for systems users

  • Configuration of applications and testing

  • Cooperation with other teams and departments

  • Deploy development and production systems within established SLAs

  • Perform operational tasks such as system updates and software upgrades

  • Manage incidents, conduct root-cause analyses, and author post-mortems

  • Participate in 24x7 on call rotation

  • Identifies problems and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses each using standard procedures and makes sound decisions

What we are looking for:

  • LAN and WAN basic knowledge

  • Familiar with PC components and it’s diagnostics

  • Very good knowledge of Windows and MS Office

  • You are a teamworker and fast learner

  • Associate’s degree with at least 1 year of experience in a technology role

  • Basic understanding of how software interacts with hardware

  • Excellent written  and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to listen effectively and communicate at a professional level

  • Attention to detail, especially when multi-tasking

  • Ability to type 40 WPM

  • Able to work shift work
