Sponsoring projects

In recognition of the socio-cultural importance of art and culture and conscious of the company’s socio-political responsibility, Kapsch supports contemporary art. "Art makes life worth living and we in turn must keep art alive" declares Georg Kapsch, emphasizing his personal commitment to this area. Additionally the company funds some activities of educational institutions in the technical area as well as selected projects in the sports segment.

Kapsch Contemporary Art Prize

The Kapsch Group and the mumok (Museum moderner Kunst Stiftung Ludwig Wien) are awarding the Kapsch Contemporary Art Prize since 2016. This award serves to promote young artists whose life and work are centered in Austria. >>>

The Wiener Konzerthaus also enjoys the reputation of capturing new audiences by offering an exciting and daring program on the one hand and nurturing traditions in living form on the other.

Kapsch has also been a festival sponsor of WIEN MODERN since 1989. Kapsch has supported the ambitious goals of the Konzerthauses since 1992 and has also been a cycle sponsor of the Nouvelles Aventures series since 2014.
