Kapsch TrafficCom is a market leading, global provider of intelligent transportation systems (ITS) in the segments of toll collection, traffic management, safety and security, smart urban mobility and connected vehicles.
Our core business is to design, build and operate electronic toll collection systems for multi-lane free-flow traffic. With our end-to-end solutions, we cover the entire value creation chain of our customers as a one-stop shop, from components and subsystems to their integration and operation.

Kapsch is a household name in Austria and is one of Austria's most successful technology companies.  Founded in 1892, we are a family-owned company with our global headquarters in Vienna.  With 130 years’ experience and a keen eye on the future, the Kapsch Group invests approximately ten percent of annual revenues back into research and development to ensure constant innovation and a steady stream of new technologies for the benefit of our customers around the world.

Kapsch TrafficCom creates innovative hardware and software solutions for sustainable mobility to enable users to arrive at their destination conveniently, on time, safely, efficiently, and with minimal environmental impact.  Throughout the entire value chain we focus on sustainability and find ways to reduce the impact of transport on the environment.

Our Culture

Kapsch is a values-driven organization and we work closely as a team.  We are a learning organization that invests in our employees’ development through various learning platforms.  We work as a team where collaboration and information sharing is a way of life.

At Kapsch, we are an Equal Opportunity Employer and we promote diversity and inclusion.  We are committed to building a workforce that represents the communities in which we live and operate.  Our culture thrives on mutual respect, responsibility, professionalism, and dynamism while working together as a team towards achieving our goals.  We give our employees the opportunity to grow and develop their careers through continuous learning.

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Melbourne team!  We are seeking a proactive Office Administrator to provide administrative support to the Sales and Finance teams, office management duties, and be responsible for Reception in the Melbourne office.

Your typical day will comprise meeting and greeting visitors on arrival, handling incoming and outgoing couriers, maintaining our communal office spaces so there is fruit in the kitchen, milk in the fridge, and snacks for our Social Fridays.  Each month you will help the Sales team with data entry for their systems, and the Finance team with data entry for theirs, but don’t worry – there will be someone to guide and help you.  You will be the liaison with our building manager, our external cleaners, and our travel provider.  You will have ad-hoc duties such as helping arrange our internal activities, and providing general administrative support to the business.  Of course there is more, but nothing you can’t handle!

You are an outgoing, energetic, team player who is looking for a role where you can really help our business thrive as the cheerful face that greets our visitors and a supportive team member who isn’t afraid to roll up your sleeves when needed.  You have experience in Reception and Administration roles, a can-do attitude, and a willingness to learn.
