Due to rapid growth and focus to our 'Traffic' portfolio order intake, we now have an excellent permanent opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager- Traffic - working across APAC region.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop functional relationships and facilitate effective communication with existing customers
  • Develop new business in Kapsch 'Traffic' Portfolio across Urban ATMS and C-ITS opportunities, and market through acquisition of new customers.
  • Strong focus to developing business cases, value propositions, NPV calculations and collaborations required to roll-out new (mobility) services.
  • Network within the industry to gain market knowledge and insight to new market trends and opportunities, whilst being a representative for Kapsch;
  • Planning strategic advantage through partnering and collaboration, supporting the pursuit process of major Intelligent Mobility opportunities with key new business partners
  • Building a leading presence in the Intelligent Mobility ecosystem, establishing strong senior relationships in new and existing markets
  • Participate in the tender and offer process ensuring the commercial and technical feasibility of projects are assessed;
  • Prepare and facilitate customer contracts;
  • Facilitate handover of successful contracts to the Project Delivery team, and liaise with relevant internal departments regarding information and document handover;
  • Generate the Sales pipeline of new qualified new business, mature prospects and  develop budget plans for al activity within the APAC region;
  • Developing and executing further growth strategies

Who You Are:

  • Min 5+ years’ experience in sales/ senior positions
  • Min 5 years in the ITS market
  • Tertiary Degree qualified in Business or Engineering within a commercial environment highly regarded;
  • Demonstrated achievement in a sales environment with a proven track record of sales success.
  • Experience within mobility software solutions and/or managed service solutions, including enterprise SaaS solutions or related business preferable
  • Strategic and solution sales capability with demonstrable experience and success in achieving consistent sales performance, developing strategic relationships with stakeholders within private sector and/or public transportation agencies or government
  • Experience within the tolling, mobility and transportation market preferable
  • Experience in managing all sales related activity through the accurate, timely and detailed use of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools including opportunity reviews, win/loss analysis, pipeline funnel management, forecasting and lead generation.
