The Field Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the installation, maintenance and administration of toll system components, lead technicians, and subcontractors. Job duties include but are not limited to: reading system schematics, following specifications to install and implement system components; monitor and approve installations, provides additional support to facility personnel including computing equipment installation, relocation and repair.
Candidates should be aware that work in this position will be performed outdoors and near freeways and toll roads. This position will involve frequent utilization of scissor lifts, boom lifts, and bucket trucks. Tools and PPE will be provided.
Monitors and performs diagnosis of problems involving vehicle loop detection equipment, automatic vehicle ID readers, antennas, RF sources, video cameras, switchers, multiplexers, monitors and frame grabbers
Performs diagnosis of equipment problems with: lane control servers and computers, printers, traffic signals, gates, IR beams, light curtains, message signs, scanners, and other toll related equipment
Leads the installation, upgrades, modifications or replacement equipment as required
Oversees a continuous preventative maintenance program
Does reactive maintenance and repair as needed
Monitors automatic trouble reporting system to ensure timely problem resolution in accordance with guidelines
Monitors repairs for timely completion and submits approval documents to appropriate purchasing personnel for payment
Tests toll collection systems through physical inspection and electronic test and measurement equipment procedures

What we are looking for:
Qualified candidates will possess at least 3 years of installation or maintenance experience
A High School diploma with additional trade or technical school training, relevant education includes RF or electrical training
Candidates that have good understanding of low voltage DC current
Candidates that have hands on experience utilizing multi-meters, fiber termination kits, and hand tools
Proficiency working with a Windows PC in a network environment with Windows 7
Our top Candidates will have:
Any previous supervisory experience is a plus
Experience read Toll System Plans
Experience with RF or microwave is a plus
