Kapsch TrafficCom develops smart solutions to make mobility safer, more sustainable and efficient for everybody. We design, build and operate traffic management systems including connected vehicles technology and mobility demand management as well as tolling services for cities, roads, tunnels and bridges around the world. We develop data and video analytics platforms, building on state-of-the-art technologies including AI, machine learning, big data and cloud services to enable the digitalization of mobility.
We are looking for a Tech Manager to fulfill the clearly defined processes, assuring software quality, client and teamwork satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities:
Finish projects in due time, with technical and functional specifications committed and according to the approved budget
Fulfill all contractual targets and requirements, avoid hardships, and keep information updated
Achieve client’s satisfaction (through service or product quality
Define roles and responsibilities in the project
Review the contract draft to identify unreal deadlines, not- considered risks, vague specifications omitted, costs, and any other potential problem
Request each functional area, in the appropriate time, the necessary resources to carry out the project and release them when they are no longer requested
Lead project plan activities and create the Project General Plan with information obtained from the team members.
Make project advance follow-up daily, monitoring priority tasks and problems closer.
Keep the Project plan updated
Represent the client’s interests facing the project team and take great care of the client’s needs
Adopt the best Project Administration practices
Approve all expenses, hours, trips, and purchases related to the project in his care
Report the project state to the Project Administration Office, Board of Directors, and the client.
Promote the client’s participation on the project.
Promote good relationship among the members of the project team, whether they are their own, supplier’s or client’s resources
Support and motivate team members, helping them solve any problem. Take care not to demand too much over a long period of time.
Coordinate especially Design, Development and Integration & Testing teams
Make revisions at the end of the project to identify learned lessons, to share them with the project office and apply them in future projects.
Your profile:
Relevant experience coordinating team’s tasks in Tech projects
Agile methodologies: Scrum/Kanban (relevant experience defining detailed processes).
Systems/Information Technology University or equivalent experience
Advanced level of English
Scrum Master certification and PMI certification (plus)
