Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive inventory strategy that aligns with the organization's global business objectives. Includes maintaining an internal library of warehousing best practices, including the topics of: Warehouse organization and optimization, shipping and receiving, safety standards, RMA (repair) and RTV (return to vendor) process, etc.
- Collaborate with Regional Inventory Managers to standardize inventory management processes while accommodating local market dynamics and regulatory requirements.
- Implement processes and procedures related to Global inventory management policies to ensure compliance.
- Drive global initiatives to optimize inventory levels, reduce carrying costs, and improve inventory turns while maintaining high service levels.
- Implement inventory optimization techniques such as safety stock optimization, SKU rationalization, and demand-driven replenishment strategies.
- Key contact related to ERP and inventory related functionality and system usage.
- Support S&OP processes by providing input on global inventory levels and other inventory related information.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor global inventory performance (i.e. inventory turnover, stockouts, and inventory carrying costs).
- Generate global inventory reporting and develop dashboards to provide stakeholders with inventory insights.
- Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to the team of inventory management professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Manage and develop existing SLAs on logistic services/3PL.
- Coordinate the annual physical inventory count and reconciliation of all stock locations
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and 5+ years’ experience in Supply Chain and Logistics and Procurement or related fields.
- Proven experience in inventory management or related roles with a strong understanding of inventory control principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and tools, as well as advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make sound decisions.nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the company
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision, able to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Material requirements planning (MRP) / Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems experience - Infor experience is a plus
