Internship - Make Kapsch the keystone for your career

Your internship at Kapsch

Discover the exciting world of digital innovation while you are still at school or studying. Here at Kapsch, one of the most important technology companies in Austria, more than 6,500 employees worldwide work on new, sustainable solutions for communication, traffic and infrastructure. In other words: We want to help shape the future.

During your internship, you can become a part of this by taking the right steps for your professional future and gaining practical experience during your school, university or college education. You will not only be able to gain experience in the working world, but also have the chance to apply what you have learned as well as make valuable contacts: for the next step of your future.

UNI/ FH Internship Program

You are currently a student at a university or university of applied sciences and are completing your bachelor's and/or master's degree in one of the following areas:

Business Informatics, Software Development, Information Technology, IT Security, Industrial Engineering and Management, Electrical Engineering, Network Technology, Telecommunications, Mechatronics or similar

During the 6-month internship program at Kapsch, you will have the opportunity to supplement your university education with practical experience, to contribute your knowledge and put it into practice, and gain initial impressions and experience for your future professional life.

For the duration of your internship, you will get a comprehensive insight into the areas of responsibility of the respective specialist departments - such as Business Development, Digital Factory, Software Development, Business Consulting Manufacturing and many more - and can already work on exciting projects.

You will also be accompanied by a mentor who will be available to answer all your questions and any concerns. Moreover, we promote the exchange with other students from the internship program during your time at Kapsch. You can network in order to get to know other departments better and at the same time work together on cross-departmental topics/tasks.

The various internships start in January/February or July/August and are always advertised 3-6 months before the start of the internship.

You can find all current internships here.

If there are no internships advertised at the moment, we would be delighted if you would continue to follow our current job openings, send us an unsolicited application or join our talent pool.
