Kapsch CarrierCom in Algeria 

Kapsch CarrierCom began operating in Algeria in 2005 with the first GSM-R (radiocommunications for railway applications) network project, followed by deployment along the 420 km long El Gourzi –Touggourt line in 2008.

The success of the deployment of the first line was soon followed by developments along similar lines such as the "High Plateaus", Ain Touta – M'sila, Saida – Moulay Slissen, the "North Bypass", Bordj Bou Arreridj – Msila, Tabia – Mecheria, Mecheria – Béchar, Saida – Moulay Slissen and the Thenia – Tizi Ouzou line contract signed in 2011.

Kapsch CarrierCom is actively working on these various projects in the country, according to ANESRIF aims to provide the most reliable GSM-R coverage.
