MPLS systems have been used in the IP cores of network operators for some years now. The manufacturers of the systems used for them are, however, not focused on the access sector. This is where we offer affordable options for utilising the ‘high-price’ ports in the core systems with upstream aggregation devices as efficiently as possible. Our partners, Telco Systems and RAD, specialise in this field and provide the following realisation concepts:

  • Ethernet access solution
    Affordable access networks can be mapped with Ethernet systems. The MPLS core and Ethernet access form different technology platforms that are managed separately.

  • MPLS access solution
    If you use MPLS technology in both the core and access sectors, you can link the two networks with each other logically. Service paths can be signalled by the access switches in the core, which also enables the configuration of a service via an external network.
