TETRA in Mexico

TETRA in Mexico, 2 September 2014

We are glad to announce that Kapsch CarrierCom will be present at the
“TETRA in Mexico” event

which will take place at

NH Mexico City
Calle Liverpool 155, Cuauhtémoc, Juárez
06600 Mexico City.

TETRA and Critical Communications Association (TCCA)

The TETRA and Critical Communications Association (TCCA), was established in December 1994 to create a forum to act on behalf of all parties interested in TETRA technology, representing users, manufacturers, application providers, integrators, operators, test houses and telecom agencies.

From a technical perspective, the trunked mode as used in TETRA networks is ideal for trams, metros and buses. It facilitates a private communications network which gives the flexibility, scalability and security necessary to meet the current and future needs of public transport companies.

Kapsch CarrierCom is offering critical communication solutions for urban public transport, based on the TETRA (Terrestrial Trunked Radio) technology. Kapsch CarrierCom’s end-to-end tetrawave portfolio contributes to improving safety, cutting operational costs and providing reliable services to the benefit of both public transport operators and passengers.

At this community event several leading TETRA experts will (in Spanish) answer all your questions on developing and delivering effective Mission Critical Communications, some of the latest equipment will be presented and a good networking opportunity is provided.

Mr. Pablo Rocha, Solution Manager Public Transport at Kapsch CarrierCom, will deliver a presentation on “TETRA – the key to intelligent urban public transport”. The presentation will take place on 2 Septemer at 11.10 am.
