Main Objective:

The Senior Vice President of Sales and Services plays a pivotal role in spearheading a top-tier sales, business development, and services organization within the North American arm of a global leader in transportation systems, solutions, and operations. Reporting directly to the Regional President, this role is integral to regional management and serves as executive representation within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically develop, execute, and oversee sales and business development initiatives aligned with regional and company objectives.
  • Provide comprehensive leadership to the Sales and Services groups, including Sales, Solution Consulting, Proposal, Traffic Management Center, Customer Service Center, and Manufacturing Operations teams.
  • Drive the sales process, including pipeline management, forecasts, and budgets, in alignment with regional and global goals.
  • Foster collaboration between Sales, Services, and other internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless integration with Product Management, Technology, Marketing, Finance, and more.
  • Act as a prominent representative of the company in external engagements, including industry associations and events.

Qualifications:

  • University Degree (MBA preferred) with 15 to 20 years of progressive sales management and business development experience.
  • Proven track record in technology business solutions, spanning software, services, and hardware sales.
  • Experience leading high-performing sales and business organizations, with direct oversight of senior sales leaders and managers.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in CRM administration, particularly Salesforce, for effective reporting and analysis.
  • Familiarity with corporate financial and HR systems such as WorkDay
  • Exceptional ability to manage multiple internal and external workstreams simultaneously, meeting deadlines with precision.
  • Clear and concise communication with diverse stakeholders, including executive boards, global teams, regional executives, and employees at all levels.
  • Strong leadership presence in both small and large group settings, demonstrating active listening and empathy.
  • Comfortable engaging in internal and external forums, with an adeptness in navigating diverse audiences.
