On 14 to 15 May, the International Union of Railways (UIC) hosts the first conference on FMRCS (Future Mobile Railway Communication Systems) in Paris, France. Kapsch experts will be on the spot to present the next generation communication solutions for mission-critical networks, including the new IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) solution KUBE.

Vienna/Paris, May 8, 2019 – The UIC presents the first conference on FMRCS – the future worldwide communication system for the rail sector and a key enabler for the digitalization of rail transport.

Experts from Kapsch will talk about the future of railway communications and present Kapsch CarrierCom’s latest innovation: KUBE, at the accompanying exhibition.

The IIoT-solution KUBE is precisely tailored to the needs of the railway industry. The multimode solution collects, monitors, transports, visualizes and analyses mission-critical data to improve monitoring and maintenance of railway operating facilities. Providing end-to-end service, KUBE is compatible with existing GSM-R networks and combines an edge computing platform, software database instances, and Apps for user GUI hosted in Android, iOS and Windows devices.

Stop by at the Driver's Cabin of Kapsch CarrierCom, located next the lecture hall, meet the Kapsch experts and get exciting insights into Kapsch’s innovative solutions.
