In this newly designated role, Mr. Averkamp will head the North American sales and business development teams and hold responsibility for the execution of the Company’s sales strategy. Mr. Averkamp joins Kapsch with over 20 years of experience leading successful business development organizations in the ITS and telecommunications industries. His experience includes the Ford Motor Company, Motorola, Sprint-Nextel, Telvent Transportation, ACS Xerox and most recently Booz Allen Hamilton. Mr. Averkamp holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and is a certified Project Management Professional.
