Czech Ministry of Transport does not consider the offer of Kapsch TrafficCom for the new country-wide tolling system as the cheapest. Kapsch TrafficCom evaluates legal steps.
Kapsch TrafficCom has been informed by the Czech Ministry of Transport that it does not consider the company‘s offer for design, build and operation of the new country-wide tolling system as the cheapest. This comes somewhat surprising as according to the tender documents a competitive dialogue should have taken place with the bidders following the opening of the preliminary financial quotes for the project. As this has not happened and for a number of other reasons Kapsch TrafficCom evaluates legal steps against this decision of the Ministry of Transport.
