Fluidtime presents MaaS-solutions at the IT TRANS 2018

Fluidtime, a KAPSCH-Group Company, will participate in this year’s IT TRANS in Karlsruhe from 6 to 8 March. IT TRANS is the most important conference and trade fair for intelligent solutions for public transport in German-speaking countries. As the leading provider of IT services for Integrated Mobility and Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS), Fluidtime will present MaaS-offerings based on the company’s service solution FluidHub at Booth D8 in the DM arena.

Fluidtime’s service solution FluidHub will be one of the highlights at the company’s stand. FluidHub is a cloud-based service solution for MaaS-applications in cities and regions. It combines traveler demand with a city’s integrated mobility offering by creating a seamless data transfer between mobility service providers and transport service providers. The versatile mobility offer is supplemented by technical components such as payment features, routing or subscription models. By using MaaS-solutions based on FluidHub technology, it becomes easier, more climate-friendly and faster for end users to travel from A to B. Several hundred transport services in 28 cities and regions are currently integrated in FluidHub worldwide. Consequently, new MaaS-solutions can be launched much faster.

A ridesharing simulation by Vinka for Karlsruhe

As one of Fluidtime’s technology partners, Vinka will show a ride-sharing simulation for Karlsruhe at the stand. In addition to travel requests, the solution also includes fleet management based on real-time traffic information, the display of vehicle locations and simulated trips.

Helsinki Business Hub

At the IT TRANS, Fluidtime will also use its presence to introduce the company’s project with Helsinki Business Hub. This project focuses on the optimization of special needs transportation (e.g. for the elderly or the ill) through a shared last-mile mobility service. The app connects public transport with subsidized transport services only displaying available vehicles. Booking and paying for journeys takes place in the mobility solution. Together with its Finnish partners Sito and Vinka, Fluidtime is piloting the project in Helsinki, with the cities of Espoo and Vantaa to follow.

Explore Stockholm with full-range mobility

UbiGo, another MaaS-solution that uses FluidHub for data management, will also attend the IT-TRANS. The UbiGo mobility app combines public transport, car sharing, car rentals and taxis in an intermodal mobility solution. Flexible monthly mobility subscriptions can be shared among family members. UbiGo makes travelers' lives easier and sustainable; owning a private car is no longer necessary.

Mobiag, an app for all sharing services

Together with the Portuguese start-up Mobiag, Fluidtime has developed a white label app connecting all shared mobility offerings. The app displays the best multi-modal travel route for the end user, who can book and pay this journey immediately within the app using their account – without the need for cash.

wegfinder, Fluidtime’s front-end partner

iMobility is one more partner in the Fluidtime ecosystem. The start-up of the Austrian railways runs the smart route planner “wegfinder” in Austria. Fluidtime and iMobility offer an end-to-end solution: customers can use the iMobility white label solution at the front end, and FluidHub for the data management of the new mobility app in the back end.

Fluidtime is an internationally recognized provider of IT-systems in the area of Integrated Mobility and Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS). With FluidHub, the company has created an open ecosystem which integrates local and (inter)national mobility services and meets the challenges of Smart Cities & Regions. In cooperation with transport service providers, Fluidtime connects transport needs with existing transport offerings. Transport service providers become more visible and can reach more customers. In addition to that, the solution provides an easy opportunity for mobility service providers to supply customers, employees and travelers with new kinds of smart mobility offers. This creates the prerequisites for travelers to be provided with easily accessible, affordable and sustainable mobility alternatives. The multi-award-winning company with its headquarters in Vienna was founded in 2004. Through the investment of Kapsch TrafficCom in 2016, Fluidtime was further able to strengthen its market position.
