Kapsch TrafficCom presents 2010/11 Annual Report and Market Outlook

Vienna, 27 June 2011 - Kapsch TrafficCom Group, listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange, today presents its 2010/11 Annual Report. The audited consolidated annual report and management report were published on 8 June 2011, and with an 80% increase in revenues coupled with an almost two-fold rise in earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) they confirmed the excellent performance of Kapsch TrafficCom in the 2010/11 financial year.

The full annual report is now available too, which provides a detailed overview of the long-term development of the company and its markets, whilst also furnishing information on the products and solutions of Kapsch TrafficCom. Additionally, it contains the Corporate Governance Report along with detailed investor information. During a press conference the Managing Board of Kapsch TrafficCom AG will present the specific results of the 2010/11 financial year and give a summary of other developments within the Group as whole.

With regard to the current fiscal year 2011/2012, the Kapsch TrafficCom Group’s outlook on market developments over the long-term is promising. Key events in the current fiscal year will be the implementation and the start of operations of the electronic toll collection systems in South Africa and Poland. In the United States, Kapsch TrafficCom expects the decision of the pending tender for the award of the E-Z Pass® Group contracts. In addition, developments in the current fiscal year will also be influenced by the preparation for tenders expected in Hungary, Slovenia and Denmark as well as by the continuing integration of MARK IV IVHS.

For the first time the Kapsch TrafficCom Group has also prepared a Sustainability Report, which will be published in July. "I am delighted that we have been able to take this first step in making our sustainability management and related progress both transparent and measurable. The Report uses facts and figures to confirm that sustainable business is part of the Kapsch psyche - not only for our Group but also in terms of the solutions that we employ to support our customers", emphasized Georg Kapsch, CEO of Kapsch TrafficCom AG.
