Dieter Bodingbauer new Vice President Public Transport at Kapsch CarrierCom

Vienna, November 2, 2015 – Dieter Bodingbauer, 52, has since November been Vice President Public Transport at Kapsch CarrierCom, where he is responsible for the global expansion of the company’s Public Transport division. Kapsch CarrierCom, a subsidiary of the Kapsch Group, has been successfully developing intelligent infrastructure and telecommunications solutions for urban public transport operators since 2012. Dieter Bodingbauer will report directly to COO Thomas Schöpf.

“We have succeeded in winning an experienced specialist in Dieter Bodingbauer, whose background will enable him to attain the ambitious goals we have set for the Public Transport segment,” states Thomas Schöpf, COO of Kapsch CarrierCom. Dieter Bodingbauer brings to the table many years of experience in international management and distribution for technology companies in the area of telecommunications solutions and capital goods. His areas of activity to date range from strategic business development, product management, and marketing all the way to the establishment and expansion of international branches and trading partner structures. Dieter Bodingbauer’s career has brought him to companies such as Apple Computer, Alcatel, and Lucent Technologies, where he spent ten years as managing director in charge of CEE (Central/Eastern Europe), the Middle East, and Africa. Dieter Bodingbauer’s most recent position was managing director of Dun & Bradstreet Information Services in Austria.

Dieter Bodingbauer studied computer science at the Technical University of Vienna, where he was awarded an engineering degree (Dipl.-Ing.) prior to earning an Executive MBA from Hayward University in California.
