In 1982, Kapsch CarrierCom, then called Austria Telecommunication (AT), was established in the form of a 50%-joint venture of the leading Austrian telecommunication companies Kapsch and Schrack. Then, the telecom market was strictly regimented and AT received the order to digitalize the Austrian telephone system.
A lot has changed since then.
Today, the telecom market is open and an enabler of mobility for all. Kapsch CarrierCom has evolved and become a global system integrator and supplier of end-to-end telecommunications solutions for fixed and mobile network operators, railway operators, urban transport organizations and companies seeking real-time asset management solutions.
