Jochen Borenich, MBA (39) became a member of the Management Board at Kapsch BusinessCom on 1 September 2010. In this function, Borenich is responsible for the Sales, Marketing and International areas. Together with Board Chairman Dr. Franz Semmernegg, he now runs Austria’s leading system integrator.

Borenich studied commerce and economics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and, while working, completed the Executive MBA program at the Wien & Carlson School of Management (University of Minnesota). In addition, he has completed postgraduate training courses at the London Business School, Insead, Harvard and Stanford. He began his professional career at debis Systemhaus, a predecessor of T-Systems Austria. In 2006, he was appointed a member of the executive management, first as Sales Vice President Telecommunication, Media & Utilities and subsequently as Sales Director Corporate Customers at T-Systems Austria.

In his position Borenich utilizes his know-how, many years of industry experience and management skills to further drive the growth of Kapsch BusinessCom.

Borenich lives near Vienna. His free time belongs to his family – in addition, the father of two also loves art and sports (mountain biking, skiing and snowboarding).
