Kapsch CarrierCom opens a subsidiary in Serbia:
Further step in the expansion of the Kapsch business activities in South-eastern Europe

In the course of the successful export activities, Kapsch CarrierCom AG once again extends its operational presence in South-eastern Europe. With its own subsidiary in Serbia the company strengthens its local activities in the regional market. The new office in Belgrade follows up Sofia and Zagreb, which Kapsch established within a short period of time in this region.

"The opening of our youngest subsidiaries is an indicator for the fact that we in Kapsch CarrierCom AG do not only see chances in South-eastern Europe but that we seize actively every opportunity. We believe, that the emerging markets offer really good perspectives for growth. Therefore, we develop our traditional technical skills in Central Europe step by step toward South-eastern Europe", said Mr. Thomas Schöpf, Member of the Board of KCC. For example, Kapsch is already successfully operating in Hungary, Czech Republic and Croatia since the beginning of the 90's. During the last years these ties have potential to be developed even further. In the course of its Follow the Customer strategy, Kapsch CarrierCom intensified the co-operation with its partners in South-eastern Europe and plans to keep on working strongly in the years to come.

The Kapsch CarrierCom AG local office in Serbia (Kapsch d.o.o. Beograd) ranks with their currently 4 employees beside the offices in Sofia and Zagreb among the most recently established subsidiaries of the company. With these subsidiaries Kapsch creates high-quality local jobs and contributes to creation of value - and as by our new branch office in Belgrade - development of competence.

This country demonstrates an impetuous and ambitious market progress. Especially in the ITK market I see for the next years an even further growing market potential", explains Mr. Jochen Nowotny, Managing Director of Kapsch d.o.o. Beograd.

This potential is confirmed for example by the recent opportunity for Kapsch CarrierCom AG and jNetX to enhance the NGIN solution of the mobilkom austria group. The two enterprises will equip the new Serbian mobile network carrier Vip mobile - a member of the mobilkom austria group - with a NGIN solution.
