During the entire exhibition, the Kapsch lounge is open daily from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm for all customers, business partners and interested parties. The lounge is located in the Spanish tapas restaurant La Clara, which is only a ten-minute walk from the exhibition. Mobile World Congress in Barcelona
The Mobile World Congress in Barcelona is the mobile sector’s venue par excellence. Product innovations, seminars as well as current industry trends will be discussed and presented in eight halls. The congress is the leading trade show for mobile phones, mobile internet and mobile applications. There is also an awards ceremony for the mobile entertainment, innovation and technology and mobile services categories. The organizers expect more than 50,000 visitors, and among them the leaders of the major mobile operators and vendors.
Acquisition of parts of Nortel’s Carrier Networks Division
The U.S. and Canadian courts have approved the acquisition of parts of Nortel’s Carrier Networks Division on December 2nd, 2009. The approval of the French courts is still pending.
