Vienna, 17 January 2012. Each year, the leading technology company takes on around 15 new apprentices. Ninety-eight percent of them remain in the company upon completing their training. In total, the Kapsch Group trains around 300 young adults for itself and third parties in eight different technical and commercial apprenticeships. With over 70 years of experience in training apprentices, Kapsch places maximum value on quality. "The high level of training makes our apprentices highly sought after on the labour market. We are one of the most traditional and important training establishments in the technology sector in Austria. That’s why we focus on the highest quality standards from the outset. An ideal environment is also created for this with, for example, a new apprentice workshop", explains Rudolf Bernscherer, Head of Human Resources of the Kapsch Group. "Kapsch is particularly delighted – in terms of advancing women in the technology industry – to hear from enthusiastic young female applicants", says Bernscherer.
