Vienna, July 18, 2012 – With the acquisition of the remaining shares in the Croatian subsidiary Kapsch TIS d.o.o., Kapsch CarrierCom is further expanding its involvement in South-Eastern Europe.
Kapsch CarrierCom, an independent system integrator of telecommunication solutions for rail companies and providers of access, core and transport networks, is confirming its confidence in the Croatian market by purchasing the remaining 31 percent of Kapsch TIS d.o.o. "We are continuing to see great potential in the markets of South-Eastern and Eastern Europe. Croatia should therefore be further expanded as an important development location," says Kari Kapsch, CEO Kapsch CarrierCom.
Kapsch CarrierCom most recently acquired a majority stake in the TIS Grupa subsidiary "TIS.kis" in Croatia in 2009, and founded the joint company Kapsch TIS d.o.o. With the acquisition of the final shares, the company will be renamed Kapsch CarrierCom d.o.o. As a specialist for mobile software solutions, the company has many years of expertise in the markets of South-Eastern Europe. The portfolio includes Messaging Platforms and Gateways, Device Management, Mobile Content Servers and WAP Gateways.
