The diverse application portfolio from Kapsch CarrierCom can be divided into four main areas:

  • Information Services Information services can be anything from a single voice prompt to a complex voice portal solution with a networked menu structure. Billing can be based on airtime, use (value-added numbers) or advertising income. Self-promotion using free phone services is also possible.
     
  • Customer Self Care Automation of routine enquiries provides a better quality of service and greater customer satisfaction while offering considerable potential cost savings. Applications include an order service, service provisioning and a cost manager.
     
  • Intelligent Peripherals The lost call service enables the call volume to be increased as all users can access callback even if their mailbox is not activated.
     
  • Value Added Services Special applications for fun and entertainment services such as celebration telegrams and tourist guides with time or use-dependent billing options.
